Sound & Style
Every one of our instruments is unique. They are handcrafted from the highest quality, carefully selected, fine grain north Italian spruce from Val di Fiemme and well seasoned, richly flamed Balkan maple. They are constructed entirely by hand in London at our workshop using forms and methods dating back to 16th Century.
Ruschil workshop instruments have a reputation for sounding very rich, sweet, dark & earthy, with great projection and balance. This is due to the continuous progression of our own particular model, not found anywhere else.
A balance of Cremonese tradition, Venetian design & Viennese style with a contemporary London edge defines our instruments. Below are some examples of the instruments made in our atelier.
